Hambleton Equine Clinic are delighted to host one of the EVDA CPD events that they are holding around the UK and Ireland focusing on dental radiography, and extraction of loose, aged and wolf teeth in the field. There will be a combination of lectures, discussion, film readings and wet labs aimed at equine and mixed veterinary practitioners dealing with equine dental disorders.

The course would be suitable to all clinician recently beginning their equine veterinary career and those experienced clinicians wishing to expand their repertoire into the field of equine dentistry. The aim is to provide all delegates with the skills to take diagnostic radiographs of the head and teeth, and interpret them with confidence. Removal of wolf teeth will be covered in both the lectures and practical sessions; detailing safe, efficient and complete extraction techniques. Extraction of loose and aged teeth will be covered in a similar way and give the delegate the armoury to tackle these scenarios in patients were referral is not an option.
