How do reduced fee zone visits work?
You will need to establish which zone your location falls into using the map on this page. Once you have done this, you can check below to see which days of the month we will be operating a zone visit in your area. Unfortunately, we do not offer a reduced fee zone day to the areas covered in grey hatchmarks.
Zone A – every Monday
Zone B – every Tuesday
Zone C – the 1st and 3rd Wednesday every month
Zone D – the 2nd and 4th Wednesday every month
Zone E – the 1st and 3rd Thursday every month
Zone F – the 2nd and 4th Thursday every month
Zone G – the 2nd and 3rd Friday every month
You can use our web form to book and pay for a zone visit for your horse up until mid-day the working day before the zone visit. We can only accept zone visit bookings through the website. The above days may be subject to bank holiday changes, and will therefore not be available in the drop down selection. We will contact you on the afternoon before the zone visit day to let you know whether the appointment will be in the morning or afternoon. The vet on zones will also give you a notice call on the day of the appointment.
Please be aware you will not be able to book specific times for a zone visit as this depends on the best route for our vets on the day. Any notes to this effect regrettably cannot be taken into consideration when the zone route is generated. If the date you want for your appointment no longer shows on the list prior to midday on the last working day before the zone, this means it is full and there are no more zone slots available on that date. If your horse requires additional work from what has been booked on the zone visit this will be charged and require payment at the time of the appointment.

There is a flat call out fee of £12.00 inc. VAT if you book a zone day visit. If there are multiple clients on one yard, each will pay the £12 fee up to five horses, when the collective free visit will become applicable.
All treatments and medicines are additional to this call out charge and must be paid for at the point of booking the zone visit.
